Upcoming NFT Projects
WhelpS: A collection of 7,777 dragons priced at .0777, 3% royalty with half of that going to a community wallet. Something cool from their site: "After minting your WhelpS, you will receive a cute little egg set against a background which will give you hints as to the breed you've acquired. Every 30 hours, your WhelpS will EVOLVE from Egg to Baby, to Whelp, to Young Adult, and finally to a full Adult dragon! Each stage of evolution drops a new trait; some are rarer than others !". Check out their website for more information. I personally think their roadmap is weak. Also haven't heard any hype, I will be sitting this one out (this can always change) but for now, I plan to sit it out. Please make sure to do your own research, look at the roadmap, team, and discord, and come to your own conclusion.
Metaverse HQ Key: Dropping on 7/21 at 12 pm est. 400 priced at 0.12eth. Gets you access into an exclusive nft Discord community which gives drop announcements, breakdowns of what's happening, and even gives momentum tips. (Full Disclosure, I own one and am in the in discord) Check their Twitter out for more information!
HOF Goat Lodge: A 10,000 collection priced at .08 each launching at 6 pm est on July 21st! The artist apparently worked for BAYC... I personally dislike the art but that's subjective. I think their roadmap is weak and has nothing solid backing it. On the plus side, it looks like it will sell out quickly because of the hype and could potentially be a good flip. As always, do your own research!!
The Vogu: I believe they are launching Monday, July 26th with a 7,777 collection priced between .08-0.1eth. I have heard a lot of people excited about this project and the artwork. They are looking to create a brand (a fictional universe) so in theory, the possibilities are endless. Check out their Twitter and website to learn more.
Boneheads: This is a complex project, but essentially I think they're trying to become the nft fashion brand (the Supreme of NFTs). A quick snippet from their website: "BECAUSE THIS IS THE FUTURE. YOU’LL NEED TO OWN A TOKEN TO BE ABLE TO FORGE THE PHYSICAL COLLECTIBLES THAT WE DROP, AND TO GET EXCLUSIVE ACCESS TO CLAIMABLEs, OUR AVATAR CREATION APP AND SDK, BEHIND THE SCENES, VOTING RIGHTS, AND SO MUCH MORE. ON TOP OF THE MULTIPLE UTILITIES LISTED ON OUR ROADMAP, WE’VE ADDED A SECOND ACCESS LAYER - WHEN FORGING A PHYSICAL COLLECTIBLE, YOU’LL NEED A BONEHEAD NFT THAT HAS THAT SPECIFIC ATTRIBUTE (EXAMPLE: CHEETAH BUCKET HAT) = INCREASED SPECULATION AND TRADING, RESULTING IN A MORE DYNAMIC ASSET CLASS." There is no confirmed price and it will be a surprise drop, I expect these to be priced around 0.1eth each so on the pricier side. One huge con is a 10% royalty fee so when you sell a Bonehead you will pay a 12.5% split between Opensea and Boneheads. Check their website out for more!
Animetas: Launching on July 31st, they have a well-known pixel artist on the team! I believe it's a 10,000 collection priced at .08 with a presale event priced at 0.02 (you can learn more in the discord). Going back to pixel art, super cool and had lots of hype early on. I know Artchick plans to mint some (she publicly tweeted this).
Royal Society of Players: "An unmatched collection of 10,000 hand-made NFT playing cards offering members unique perks, prizes, and privileges spanning both the metaverse and real-world" The artist is Oban Jones.
This has also been talked about within a bunch of communities and I believe it'll sell out. Check out their discord to learn more!
Art Blocks Celestial Cyclones: An Artblock that's also a game... its actually pretty cool. .08 mint price launching at 5 pm est on July 21st. It is pretty limited and there will definitely be a gas war, I would expect over 600+ gwei at the mint. I would take a detailed look at this and perhaps snipe one post mint, in my opinion, I think these could do really well.
Katanan Samurai: Art is eh. The roadmap is eh. Not much to say from me, but regardless check out their website and form your own opinion. They do want to create a game, so that is cool but who knows how long that will take. they drop July 23rd, a 10k collection priced at .05 each.
Pudgy Penguins: A collection of 8,888 penguins priced at 0.03 each launching, July 22nd at 5 pm est. My first assumption will be that they sell out purely because they're so cheap and people like penguins. I have no idea if they have staying power but my guess is no, please do your own research!
Singularity Hero: Already minting at .067eth (10k collection), the art looks similar to Misfits. I don't like the art or the roadmap but check it out! Really not much else to say.
Digirocks: Pixelated Pet Rocks. There is a steep bonding curve so I am not sure these will sell out! I personally wouldn't touch it, if you want to see the look of them and the bonding curve details, check it out. For those unfamiliar with what a bonding curve is; it basically means as the number minted goes up so will the price to mint.
Qubits on the Ice: A 10,000 collection priced at .045 each. Already 27% sold, they are boxed Voxel collectibles. The roadmap is interesting so it could be worth a look.
Cryptinies: Launching at 3 pm Est on July 21st. Another 10,000 collection is priced at 0.04eth. Planning to launch a game when they are sold out, here's the trailer. I will probably pass on these as well but check out their website!
Thank you for reading, I plan to keep experimenting with these next few write-ups, dropping on multiple platforms and seeing what performs best. My style on writing these will bounce around, but lots of people asked for my list of upcoming projects after my first article, and I was planning to work on this for a few days but decided to drop this ASAP.
